01My intuitive work begins with something felt rather than something observed. A pressure, a memory, the colour of anxiety, or the small appearance of light inside a difficult night. I work without correcting the moment. The painting becomes evidence that the feeling was real.

02People may see a distance between the gentle world of Blueberry Borough and my more forceful abstract paintings. To me, they come from the same place. One creates the safety I need; the other gives shape to what threatens it.

03Being featured by The Beatrix Potter Society was a deeply personal milestone. Potter showed that close observation, imagination and a small world built with care can travel far beyond where it began. Blueberry Borough grew from that same belief.
